Originally from Georgetown, Kentucky, Jen Chaney is an actor who embodies honesty and humor in all she does. She began acting at the age of 13 in The Wizard of Oz and has stuck with it ever since, balancing her love of theatre with soccer practices and archery tournaments.

After graduating high school, she pursued a BFA degree from LIU Post, from which she graduated in 2022. There she trained in Suzuki, Shakespeare, and on-camera acting. She was seen on stage as 46 in The Wolves directed by Kylie Brown, Abhordson in Measure for Measure directed by Dara Malina, and Holden in Fahrenheit 451 directed by Melanie Armer. During her final semester, she had the opportunity to assistant direct Cognitive Dissonance, a first-year showcase directed by Kaelem Von Camper

Outside of acting, Jen enjoys playing guitar and listening to her favorite records, as well as spending time with her pet rabbit. She's also found a love for songwriting, influenced by her favorite artists, which include: Keaton Henson, Samia, and Jensen McRae. During her time at LIU Post, she began writing a play inspired by her teenage years as a queer kid in Kentucky. She hopes you get to read it someday.
